Error - The inventory Location Code is invalid comes when issuing Cheque Book into SB Account
We have learnt how to issue a cheque book into SB Account. In our earlier post we have discussed that HICHB command is used for issuing cheque book into account. If you have not read it yet. You can read this with following link.
Today we discuss about an error coming while issuing cheque book in HICHB command. The error appear like below screen shoot.
The error is "210 Inventory location code is invalid". Now we check and found that we have sufficient inventory in our use. See below screen shoot for this process.
The below two reason will be cause for this error.
- The Scheme code of SB Account may be SBGEN. As you know we can issue cheque book only in SBCHQ account. If such situation is found, convert the SBGEN account in SBCHQ in HACXFRSC command. You can read about HACXFRSC with below link
- The account is not related to your SOL. Please ask to customer to go his home branch for issuing cheque account in his account or you can issue chque book in his account if KYC, Photo, Signature are updated in account by transfer SOL ID of Account. The SOL Transfer process is given below:-

- If above two condition fulfill, the error will not come in HICHB process.
