CIF Creation Error is Being Faced now a day in POFinacle.
An error "Preferred Document is mandatory" is coming while New CIF Creation now a day as the below screen shoot.
- Reason of Error :- This error is occurred due to Document Code selected as ADHAR and do not change in Preferred flag.
- Solution - If document code is taken as ADHAR, the preferred code must be Yes. Now click submit the error is removed successfully.
- Solution for OLD CIF which is modified and not verified. -Cancel the modification of the cif and modify again. Please select Preferred Flag to "Yes" in Document Details. Preferred document flag should be Yes for one document. If multiple documents are being added, then preferred flag should be 'Y' only for one document and 'N' for the rest

If we created cif at counter by selecting preferred flag no and when we verify then it gives error..now how to change the preferred flag yes..we create cif on 6-2-16 but not verify on same day now on 8-2-16 we got error..

ReplyDeleteI am also facing this error. But I didnot enter adhar card as Id proof. Still its shows the error. If Prefereed flag is selected then it says to uncheck it.

ReplyDeleteSir, what about that case if the "Preferred Flag" option at the time of opening of a CIF of a customer is not available in the CCRC page for checking ??? That means I can't check that box ( Preferred Flag ) & consequently there is an error taking place resulting in the non creation of new CIF. Seeking for a (+)ve reply soon...

ReplyDeleteAt this time, no solution is developed by infosys. If you still face the "preferred flag" error in New CIF. Please create new CIF without wasting time. If the error is related to Old CIF, please wait for proper solution.
