It has been brought to notice of t his office by Joint Director & Head of the Department NSI Nagpur that the practice of splitting of one higher denomination account into multiple lower denomination accounts in Post offices in order to achieve the target of opening of new accounts are being adopted. It should be stopped.

Eventhough there is clear cut instructions against spilting the account bos continue to do so for keeping their trca in tact>But it is at the sub offices we have to bear this workload.If a customer wants to open rs 500 dmn rd account in bos they spilt at 10 accounts.For bulk bo accounts now we have no option in finacle we have to deposit each one which is not only time consuming but tideous.Let infosys find some solution so as precious man hours are saved, from this laborious process making laughable
